IFS FAQs
Unlike traditional therapy approaches that focus on eliminating symptoms, IFS therapy seeks to understand and transform the underlying dynamics within the individual's internal system. It emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and honoring all parts of the self, even those that may seem conflicting or painful.
IFS therapy is beneficial for individuals struggling with a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem issues. It can also be helpful for therapists and counselors seeking personal growth and professional development.
During an IFS consultation or supervision session, we will explore your goals, challenges, and areas of growth. I will help you navigate your internal system, identify patterns, and develop strategies for self-leadership and healing. Sessions may include experiential exercises, role-playing, and reflective discussions.
IFS workshops provide a supportive and collaborative environment for learning and growth. Participants will deepen their understanding of the IFS model, practice techniques for working with parts, and explore real-life case examples. Workshops also offer opportunities for networking and connecting with other professionals in the field.
While some IFS trainings may have prerequisites, such as prior experience with psychotherapy or counseling, others are open to individuals at all levels of experience. It's important to review the requirements for each training program or workshop and ensure that it aligns with your background and goals.
Our IFS workshops are designed to be engaging, interactive, and transformative. Led by experienced facilitators, our workshops cover a variety of topics, including trauma healing, self-compassion, and inner dialogue.
